re-up

My Morning Son

For our Skillshare class ‘Why We Letter’, I chose the opening line from True Faith by New Order. That song has always been one of my favorites and the older I get, that first line continues to grow in meaning for me.

For a Good Cause

An opportunity came up to help Mastercard’s Stand Up To Cancer initiative by developing a lettering headline for a banner in Times Square. The banner was used to help promote “The Priceless Table”. Guests who were lucky enough to reserve a seat via opentable enjoyed a course prepared and served by Marcus Samuelsson. All contributions made from the event were donated to the Stand Up To Cancer charity. Here’s a look at the exploratory phase for the main headline used on the banner.
