Wake up!
56This was an experiment based on the alphanumeric displays seen on digital alarm clocks and watches. I made a simple repeating pattern and tried to see how detailed I could make the type while staying within the pattern. I would have loved to play around and experiment some more but as you can imagine its pretty tedious work and there is a good chance of going insane if you stare at this too long.

72I had this one in my sketchbooks for a while and wanted to bust it out this week… and with the weather here it was the perfect timing.

Nice guys finish first
38Join us by giving a nice round of applause as we introduce FoT’s fourth guest post’r, Ed Nacional, to the stage. We had the pleasure of exhibiting alongside Ed last December at Lucky Gallery’s, “Wearing Whitman’s Words” show. Despite having graduated school several months ago, he’s covered more ground than a Canadian goose. There is a lot to like about Ed, he is most likely one of the nicest and most motivated designers you’ll meet. If you enjoy his work as much as we do, it will be no surprise that his contributions are going to give you a cavity-because they’re so cussing sweet.
Check back in every morning this week to see new sweet posts by Ed.
