My wife Kelly and I are expecting to have a little human in our lives next spring! We’re super excited and I hope you’ll put up with more mushy posts like this (and probably even more complaints about lack of sleep).
The Beauty of Engrav’n!
Happy to announce my participation with Neenah Paper in The Beauty of Engraving print series. Here’s a look at my contribution and you can sign up for a free print of it here.
The place where we dwell.
Digitized & Drawn by Aaron Carambula
Way down in Brooklyn (well, not that deep, Carroll Gardens), Brooklyn Beta is going above and beyond the call of duty for a web conference yet again. Year three has been just as transformative and even more challenging that last.

UPPERCASE magazine invited 26 typographers, designers and illustrators for an exhibition called Beautiful Bitmaps. The show takes this vestigial part of digital type—the bitmap—and makes it into something to be newly appreciated. Quite a stellar list of contributors, we had the privilege and honor of being 2 of the 26.
To see the whole alphabet, you can visit the show if you’re in Calgary, buy a print of a letter from Society6, or pick up issue 15 of UPPERCASE.

City Upon A Hill
This last Sunday Timothy Goodman (guest art director for the New York Times Book Review section) asked me to contribute a piece for this essay by Ted Widmer here. The post above is a remix of the printed version, but you get the idea… Go America!
The Graham & Co.
Drawn by The Friends
On the last weekend of September 2012, we had the great pleasure of staying at a new hotel called The Graham & Co. in Phoenicia, New York. For us, everything about the stay and experience has raised the bar in hospitality…. and they also allowed us to have a little fun with their chalk.
