Let’s Stay Friends
Digitized & Drawn by Ed Nacional
I whipped this up from pieces of my library of scanned type as a thank you to the find folks here at Friends of Type. Thank you to Erik, Aaron, Jason and Dennis for having me as a guest!
Wake up!
This was an experiment based on the alphanumeric displays seen on digital alarm clocks and watches. I made a simple repeating pattern and tried to see how detailed I could make the type while staying within the pattern. I would have loved to play around and experiment some more but as you can imagine its pretty tedious work and there is a good chance of going insane if you stare at this too long.
