ADWEEK’s HEAD OF THE CLASS
I had the privilege to create lettering for ADWEEK’s 2016 Power List. Special thanks to Ron Goodman for guiding the way. Sharing some of the process after the jump.

Very cool. I always wonder in these cases with custom type or illustrations, do you send super rough versions of your options or do you show almost completed versions of each of your options?
Thanks Chris. It really depends on the assignment. This one had a quick turnaround so it was important have good communication with the CD (who luckily happens to be awesome) and it was smooth sailing. Some cases require tighter rounds of sketches before moving into a phase that gets too finished to please certain stakeholders.
Nice info thank you for sharing..
