Win to Sell

Here is a look at a couple lettering pieces I did for the talented Maayan Pearl, designer over at Bloomberg Businessweek. The article talked about how Nascar is looking to reintroduce racing cars on the track with body styles to those that are available in dealership showrooms. You can read more about the piece here and follow Maayan Pearl on twitter here.

United Pixelworkers

Jay, Nate, and Matt who are the talented fellows behind United Pixelworkers invited me to create a shirt to represent my city, San Francisco. I’ve been a fan of the merchandise they produce for awhile because it’s always of the highest quality. If you want to represent SF buy the shirt here.

Ampersand Club Workshop @ PSU GD

In January of 2013 we conducted a lettering workshop at Portland State University Graphic Design department called ‘Ampersand Club’. Attendees learned tips, tricks and insight to our process in creating a typical post for Friends of Type. Shown above are 21 ampersands examples created by each participant. A big thank you goes out to Kate Bingaman-Burt for making this all happen!
