I wanted to quickly show the process of this sketch.
I drew a 5 that caught my eye and decided it needed some company.
At the time I drew the 5 in my journal the clock read 1:35 so I decided to roll with it.
From here I filled in the bowls with black
Once it was inked I noticed the curve of the 5 did not match the bowls in 1 and 3. I quickly went back and drew another rough to see if I could fix this.
I went back and repeated step three and inked up the final sketch.

Gorgeous!!! It looks like something done by Doyald Young or Herb Lubalin. If only house numbers could look this amazing! Maybe painted on the side of a mailbox?
You out work and out class every time. What’s the 135 mean?
Haha don’t take this the wrong way, but you’ve got nice roundhand.
thick/thin master flash
steady hands
lovely!
